Continuing their theme of being Out & About, the next 4 albums focussed on the Towns, Cities
and Waterways to be found throughout Holland. "Langs de Zuiderzee" (By the Zuiderzee) was the
first of these being issued in 1914. This was followed by "De Vecht" (De Vecht
Region) in 1915 and "De Ijsel" (De Ijsel Region) in 1916. Finally, after a brief interlude,
"Friesland" (Friesland Province) appeared in 1919. Whilst the print runs for the first two of
these albums (and all of the Scenic ones that immediately preceeded them) had been in excess of
25,000 copies, the First World War had a clear impact on the last 2 titles with Friesland,
in particular, greatly affected. Only 16,000 copies were produced making it one of the harder
sets to obtain today.
